Attention All: ‘Up All Night’ is Not a Good Show
There seems to be some sort of crazy rumor going around that Up All Night is a good show. Words such as, “great,” “amazing,” “thoroughly enjoyable,” have been thrown around like a football on a Sunday afternoon. Such blasphemy as, “a Raising Hope for working professionals”, “a big hit in the making,” even such hyperbole as, “very funny” have been uttered.
This madness must stop!
Are we so easily swayed by actors that we love? Can we not admit to ourselves when a show just doesn’t work? Is the whole, Maya Rudolph SNL connection clouding our judgment?
One can only hope.
Because if we call this comedy, I shudder to think what’s in store for us.
